2021 Land Rover Range Rover comes this year as slightly redesigned. We have reasons to believe that after test driving, they have made this winter. We were able to see longer wheelbase, changes on the rear bumper, and expect changes in engine, too.
- The model is large and longer than before
- There is an excellent hybrid engine under the hood
- The technology in the cabin has not been clearly described
- The price could be very high
As we were able to see on spy photos, the 2021 Land Rover Range Rover will have a little different design. It is not easy to predict, though. On spy photos, made on test driving, the model is covered with thick camouflage. So, we were able to see the only rough shape and possible changes in size. Speaking about the size, it looks a little bigger than before.
Although the manufacturer will change the platform, making it on Modular Longitudinal Architecture (MLA), it does not presumes significant changes in design. More likely, it will be longer, but thinner, so this time we have a slightly changed model.
On the other hand, the new model has different lights and a redesigned rear bumper. It could seem like bunches below the camouflage, but still, we expect changes in that part, too. The front end looks the same as before, with expected changes in detail.
Unfortunately, we were not able to see the 2021 Land Rover Range Rover inside. It had high technology last time, so we expect that they will continue with those things in the new model. Among those things are 10-inch touchscreen, many folding seats’ options, safety programs, and driving assistant programs, too.
2021 Land Rover Range Rover Engine
Last year the manufacturer announced that they had produced the most innovative hybrid engine so far. It ways a particular plug-in hybrid electric vehicle made as a combination of Ingenium gas engine and an electric motor. Thanks to that combination, it produces 398 horsepower, while the speed of 60 mph increases for 6.4 seconds.
This time, though, 2021 Land Rover goes a step further. It will offer a completely new, also electric, engine, made in new technology. The final goal is to reach more than today’s 31 miles driving at a charge. It will be, like last year’s model, offered in an all-wheel driving system.
However, a lot of people expect a petrol engine under the hood of this model. At least as an optional version. Like Bentley Bentayga, it could get a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine, taken from BMW instead of current supercharged 5.0-liter.
2021 Land Rover Range Rover Release Date and Price
It is hard to predict the price of 2021 Land Rover Range Rover. Do not forget that last year’s model had the amount of $90,000. This version could cost even more. However, be patient and wait for more information later this year.
